One of my friends told me if I used white thread or monofilament thread then you would have to look really hard to find the mistakes so by using the contrasting thread you see every flaw but I dont mind, it was my first attempt at free motion quilting and I had fun. I am now working on my next quilt which is a wall hanging/baby sized quilt. I made it last year and started to machine quilt it but then bailed. I ordered stencils last night and will try my hand again at making neat designs.
