My 10 yr old granddaughter is very peanut allergic, but can have tree nuts. I made my Peanut Butter cookie recipe using almond butter for her. I also made Monster Cookies using almond butter. They were absolutely different in flavor, but good just the same.
I have wondered about using some of the other nut butters, but have not done so yet.
