quilt2b- my husband put a screen door on my sewing room so I could keep my cat, Sonia, out. She has since passed but we have 3 others so it does come in handy. They can see me but I guess it depends on the cat too. My 3 don't bother with anything. They just lie on the floor if they can find a spot that is
I do like having a screen door for other reasons.
