GF and I do hands on HC demos fairly often. For small quantities we do treasure pouches. About 3 x5" finished A hem ( or casing) acrose the top. Fold it An L seam accross the side and bottom, turned inisde out. Yarn can turn it into a drawstring bag. When we do 1400 kids in a day , it is a simple seam for a bookmark.
We go in with precut rectangles of scrap fabric. Kids love to chose their fabric. We may have 10 different colors or patterns, purchased at thrift stores or leftover from other stuff.

I agree with bkay... if we were closer.... sigh. We will be doing a big demo again for earth day.
