I think I read on FB that someone laid a piece of parchment paper on their mat first and it kept the batting out of the cutting grooves. I've not tried it. I have a worn out mat that I use when cutting batting.
Thanks Nan... I will try that , I have an old mat too, and should get it out.... lol . I like to clean mine with this razor blade... scrapping both directions is great
