That's a great idea, and they turned out very well. I tried something similar a few weeks ago, sewing a stray block on the front of a sweatshirt, but it was a little less than perfectly straight (trying for on point), and I added a bias tape edge around it, which was more trouble than it was worth. It did cover up a stain on that sweatshirt, which I only wear around the house in any case. I like your method better and will try that soon. Thanks for sharing!
