I also purchased two of the long racks for the dies. I did add a bottom so nothing slides out of the slots such as bolts of fabrics. The racks fit in the hampers. One hamper contains long dies and the other has bolts of fabric for special projects. Both hampers are together in my sewing room. The sewing box fits on the tops and makes the perfect spot.
The hampers keep the dust out too! I like that they have straight sides and are tall enough to fit the long dies which is something to consider.
My regular dies are in the storage boxes. The cubes weren't available when I first started with AC. The boxes fit nice on shelves in my sewing room. I'm working on a master list for each box.
ETA: PS: I put labels on the top edge of dies. Easy to find the right one needed for a project with just removing the hamper lid.
