I just did all my fabric. Up to 4-5 yard pieces I folded selvage to selvage and fold to selvage = long and skinny, rolled with my 6" ruler. On larger pieces I opened it up and folded raw edges to raw edges =ends to ends and folded again fold to raw edges, smoothed out with ruler between layers and with hands folded in half selvage to selvage and smoothed again, rolled on same ruler and stacked these long pieces on back of selves, put the shorter and smaller pieces in front. When I get ready to use them, I only have to take out a smaller stack to see the long ones in the back. I have a 48" cabinet divided in half. I usually buy larger pieces and some bolt ends. I have more 4 yards and bigger pieces.
