I saw this post the other day and having absolutely no experience with ham loaf or ham balls, did not respond but was interested enough to follow and see what was posted. Always on the look out for something new to try.
Imagine my surprise when I received an email from Clemson University's Home and Garden extension service (I signed up for the service and get an email once a week) that had a recipe for Ham Balls in it! Thought I would share a link to the website and definitely going to make some Ham Balls soon. Especially since this recipe only calls for 1 pound ham and is very similiar to the one posted by tranum.
