I lost my husband about 3 weeks ago. I was wondering if any of you have made quilts from men's shirts. I have a closet of both long sleeve and short sleeve shirts that are all good quality, 100% cotton. So sorry for this loss. Yes, absolutely make a quilt. And if you have children, make quilts for them as well, or a grandchild even. I was "deboning" some of Dad's shirts, just this afternoon. I've already cut and sewn some for a memory quilt for my brother.
