I just looked at the directions for it. I downloaded it when I got the email. It uses a jelly roll of solid colors and a background fabric. It really doesn't look too difficult to put together. You're just mixing up the colors to suit yourself. It would look good in a marble type colors, not sure how it would look in prints. I'm not big on solid color quilts, It looks like you have to keep your wits about you to cut those 45 degree angles in the correct direction, but otherwise I would say try making one block of some scrap fabrics and see how you like the pattern directions. I have lots of solid color jelly rolls here, but also have lots of projects that take precedence over that one. As far as the graphic VS an actual quilt made from that pattern, I don't know why she didn't use a quilt for the picture, but as I said, give one block a try and see how you like the directions. I have done that a couple times with patterns I was hesitant about, and ended up not making the quilt.
