the only thing difficult about firm batting is only a problem for me if I have to put the lining in and then turn the whole tote bag right side out threw a small opening. Not fun with really firm Bosal. I've decided it i ever used it again i would simply slip the lining in, slip straps in place and fold the raw edges inward and sew. done!
