The look is different but I like it. The only problem for me is that I'm used to hand quilting and I had to keep remembering not to make the stitches too small.

I agree with SusieQOH...being a hand quilter doing 'big stitch' was quick; easy; fun but definitely had a hard time not making my stitches tiny, lol. That said, even with the tiny stitches by using the pearle cotton thread there was still more definition in the quilting. I like how it turned out on the quilt I did this style quilting.
