Loretta, you really need to look at the price per yard...you can get a 5000 yard cone from connecting threads for $8.00.(plus shipping)
I quit using coats and clark when they changed it,(dual duty) it is a smaller spool and raised the price. even with a coupon it is no bargain. dual duty is around $3.00 for 400 yards.
thier 1200 yard spool is almost 6 bucks.
gutterman can be costly also, but i use a coupon, and the spools are bigger. and the main reason is convience..if i run low and am quilting, i can just run up and get some from joanns.
If you have some quilters that can go in with you..and split shipping..it is even cheaper. Just a thought. Kim
