I've always had gas dryers until one Christmas all the kids were home and it died. We couldn't find one anywhere so I got an electric. Hated that thing. I sold it on Craig's list after only a couple of years. Gas dries so much faster. I have a Whirlpool now and love it.
I also like the lint trap on the top.
