Default Farm Sale

Well the ad said 30 years on the farm, big shop, barn full, so off we went and we were there just before it opened. We chatted for a few minutes with the fellow manning the rope across the drive and after a bit of banter I asked him if there was any sewing machines. Yes, just a little one in a black box. Well we all know what that is. He said it was in the house so that is the first building that DH and I check out. No sign of anything but wool and thread. Ask another staff person, oh yes they had seen it and it was in a shed so off we go, again no sign of it. We asked the man that was in that building, Oh yes he had seen it. Well he did find it but it was in a shipping container and that had things that he thought were not for sale. Ohhhhh, he opened the case and lifted it half out and it is sparkling and has a box of accessories. He sent us to talk with Ronnie to confirm that it isn't for sale and Ronnie said that is true. He did take our name and number and will call us tomorrow but by the time we left we have found out that he is running these sales as a business and used to have 2 antique stores. You know it won't be any bargain if it is available.

Now I do have a question. I found an old tin that had a paper label over a name and the word "Accessories" underneath. Now that we have the paper label off we find it says "Princeton", it is turquoise with gold lettering, about 3" by 6" and 2" high. I have searched on line and cannot come up with a sewing machine by this name. Have I been seduced by the paper label with the hand written "Bernina" on it?
