My grandpa would boil water in a sauce pan, turn the gas off, and add the coffee grounds. Strain into the cup. Best smell and taste. He would let me drink it black at 2 1/2, but my grandma would catch me, and make it more cream. She told me black coffee would stunt my growth. She was 5' 2", and I ended up being 5' 8".
