Default What is the most pliable batting?

I'm wondering if fleece (or something else) for batting will make a quilt more pliable ... similar to a throw. The top and back are cotton, so I'm sure no matter what I use it will probably never be "as" pliable as a Throw. And, I realize the more quilting done, the stiffer the quilt. The one I'm working on will have a lot of wavy lines ... so with all the quilting, the batting type may not make a difference in pliability of this patricular quilt.

I can't seem to find a clear answer on the internet so I decided to call on the "wealth of knowlege" on this Board.

Thanks so much.
