I used to use W&N until I tried Quilter's Dream and have never looked back. Quilter's Dream, whether it be their wool, cotton blend, or poly, is so much softer than W&N, and has a lovely drape.
Years ago I made a quilt for my youngest son that was pieced cotton on top of a fleece blanket, quilted together, no batting. It's snuggly and wraps nicely around him.
