Barbarakibler23 - I saw a few IC quilts on Pinterest where the entire quilt was made with 2 1/2" squares - in lieu of any yardage they simply constructed the background fabric out of scrappy neutrals - if you didn't want white/neutral you could use a variety of another color 2 1/2" squares? Just a thought that I suggest only because you're the leader of the b-day candy group and I imagine you have tons of 'candies'
If I had more that's what I would do next!
