Waving hello from the Seattle area!
The internet is such a wonderful resource for those of us separated by space, time, or other issues. I started quilting as a teenager because I wanted to and I'm self taught as I was a bit intimidated by the little old quilting ladies (one of which I've become...) and don't have any quilters in the family.
The only problem I have with this board is I get too many great ideas for my limited amount of time. And yes, the jealousy that comes from looking at other people projects, but I am used to that! We have some tremendously talented and helpful people here -- now including you!
