I've been taking my vintage machines to the Singer Factory Distribution store in Chicago. The service bill when I picked up my Singer 201K yesterday was $109. That included a complete tune, rewiring the motor and foot controller, replacing the light assembly, new LED bulb, new belt, cleaning/oiling, and adjusting the timing, and rebuilding the tension assembly. I've been taking my vintage machines here for a while. Their service is fantastic with a 6 month warranty on all work done. The machines sew like brand new after this.
