Welcome Martina.

From my understanding, most quilters choose a different machine than one that is left-homing for quilt piecing. I wonder if a straight stitch plate and foot, if available, would help being easier to do a quarter inch seam.

I'm curious as to which model Necchi is left-homing.

Also, does the Bradford have a JA or JC number either stamped or cast into the underside of the machine?
