Welcome from Waterford Michigan! I do equally as much hand quilting as I do machine quilting depending on the quilt. Hand quilting of course takes much longer and I have found is not what I like for quilts that get a lot of use. They wear much faster. I will always hand quilt antique tops or show quilts, while bed quilts are most often machine quilted. There are a whole lot of well informed quilters here that can help you along the way.
