Thanks so much for all the comments. I did purchase the 1600e and love it. So far I've only embroidered a bag I made for my Aunt to use on her walker, a saying I framed for my DGD and a small bag/purse I'm working on for me. Really pleased with this machine. I'll try to get pictures posted. Brother machines seem to be easy to use and learn. Unfortunately, right now I have more "ideas" than "time". Haha.
