Default A variation of whole cloth quilt

My daughter decorated her daughter’s nursery in flowers with a heavy emphasis on bright pink. I found this lovely morning glories print filled with flowers about 2” across, so I decided to use it as an entire top instead of cutting it up. I used Floriani thread because I liked the shine. The centers of all the flowers are in a very light cream, and each flower is outlined in the color of its border. For the border and binding, I just used a 30 weight discontinued thread I had sitting around. Of course I ran out with 8” left of the binding! Luckily I had some closely matching 40 weight, and I just used two threads of that to finish the feather stitching, I am definitely not showing the back of this! The thread was so slick that I had troubles keeping a consistent tension. Of course it probably didn’t help that I was doing this on my Bernina 440 instead of my Sweet 16, but I was traveling in the RV when I started. Luckily she likes it, and that baby is too young to have an opinion!
