Ok you are going to think I am a crazy lady!! LOL I fixed the problem

I had a problem with my keyboard not connecting and I hooked up my old one. When I figured out what was wrong with the new keyboard I never unplugged the old one. So I have had both connected for some time. The old one was sitting behind my comp and I moved it the other day into a box and over the last couple of days I have piled papers on top of that keyboard which was still plugged in. Upshot of it is the keys on that keyboard were being pushed but the stuff on top of it and it was causing the havoc on my comp! Duh!! I should have taken the time and energy to disconnect it when I first fixed the new keyboard! Live and learn!

Thank you everyone for your helpful suggestions!!
