I've always made my own. I use mattress ticking and am careful to sew straight and put on straight. Then I have lines to iron folds straight and to measure anything needing pressed under a certain amount.
I think the lines on an ironing board are the cat's meow. I have a plain canvas cover on my ironing board and drew lines on it with a ball point pen. As I'm ironing, it helps me to know how big the piece is. And I can keep a square square as I iron. Especially helpful when making blocks with bias edges.
I made a Paddle Wheel a few years back and those lines kept my squares perfectly square.
