I am doing much better than ever! I am healthier now that I ever have been in my entire life. I had my infusion therapy just last Wed and am right now at the peak of feeling good. The plan, of course, is to stay this way the rest of my life. I will require the infusion therapy the rest of my life because of an acquired auto-immune disease (doctor error destroyed my immune system). I was given chemo when I did not need it. Long story. I have had the unfortunate but great gift to share with many people going through chemo for the big C as well as others that need infusion therapy for one reason or another. As I mentioned quilts are a welcome gift to the docs and the patients. I have made several quilts for different patients of my doc. I have the best hematologist/oncologist in the country. I have done a great deal of hand quilting or piecing over the years while sitting in an infusion chair. Thank goodness for my port so I have my hands free to quilt.
