The software card in your machine is generally in two places - the right side of the machine (away from the needle) and in any screens that the sewing machine has.
Suggest no magnets near either of those areas.
This isn't true anymore. The machine's computer works are shielded. If not then there would be a big red warning sign attached to the machine saying No Magnets and a lot of ruined machines.
