I purchased one online, I weigh almost 100 pounds, so I went with the 10% of your body weight rule when buying or making one. I bought the 10 pound one, it is so heavy and it makes me hot, I can’t stand it! It’s good on a cold night but after I jump in bed and get warmed up I end up taking it off. I’m one that normally runs cold, no hot flashes, it’s just a heavy hot blanket.
