When my grandson Bill(crew chief on a blackhawk helicopter) was home on leave last summer, I asked him if they would like pillowcases.....He said oh Grandma we would love some, the only place we can have color is in our sleeping tents. I was thinking of like maybe 10 pillowcases, and when I asked him how many he counted up 36. I sent him 38 and told him to pick out two for him. It ended up they got 2 more soldiers two days before the pillowcases arrived. He didn't have the heart to tell them there wasn't any for them so he ended up with none. He told his mom, thats okay Grandma will make me a set when I get home. Bless his giving heart. He just arrived back home so am working on a flannel quilt and I have the pillow cases for him.
