As Dunster explained, it is an actual quilt designed by Jen Kingwell called “Long Time Gone”, I think she is Australian. She has written more than 20 quilt patterns but they are much like assembling a puzzle. It was a sew along project our Modern Quilt guild did.
Thank you for the compliments, I used fabrics from my stash and even did some fussy cutting. I will post more photos down the road. The nice thing about finally having my own LA machine is I can leave the quilt on and go at my leisure...whereas, I had rented by the hour for years and usually did edge to edge just to get the quilting done.
