I just started quilting in 2018. My first quilt was for my nephew's new baby. I enjoyed the piecing, but the guy from the local quilt store who did the longarm, put the backing on VERY lopsided. I was devastated when I saw what he did. His response: "You didn't tell me to put it on straight." Wow. Luckily, I was able to salvage it. My nephew and and his wife loved it. I wish I could post a photo, but this site NEVER wants to upload my photos no matter how small I make them.

Since that first quilt, I've addicted. I've joined the local guild, attended quilt shows, and pieced more than a dozen quilts in the last year. So far I have taken them to a local woman for the longarm work, but I'm going to try quilting the next one at home.
