Your black dashing is absolutely perfect. And the border width is just the right size, too so I wouldn’t make it smaller. I’m not so sure about black binding (even though I love black fabric!!!!). Maybe binding it I. The border color or even some of the block fabric. Wait till it’s quilted and then try out several different fabrics for the binding and see what you like best.
