I know well the reason for making sample blocks before cutting into the F8's sent to me. I just counted, I have made 5 sample blocks. All but one of them I made without difficulty. Only one threw me for a loop and I had to do some added fabric only to discover I had it right on the first time I cut. No matter I ended up with 4 extra pieces that I will be able to use in another block, just not the one I wanted to make. It has been a long time since I did a swap and my biggest concern is my vision right now. Once I get all my blocks made I will go back over them and see again what adjustment, if any, need to be made. I hope everyone is having as much fun as I am!
