Default I'm no artist, just a quilter

I'm in the process of making throw quilts for my pastor's family for Pastor Appreciation Month this coming October. They have two boys, ages eight and (almost) four. The eight year old likes red and dinosaurs. I tried not to incorporate too many dinos on the front because I know from experience that dinosaurs are a phase that most boys go through and it doesn't necessarily last too long. However, I couldn't help myself with the quilting. I can only draw stick figures but I'm learning how to copy simple line designs. I found simplified drawings of dinosaurs for children to use a coloring pages, etc. and used that as my basis for quilting the designs. Then I finished the border by drawing grass, sun, a cloud, and fantastic leaves/flowers around the border. It was a lot of fun!
