Thanks TheMerkleFamily, I appreciate your response but phoning from Australia is not an option for me. Tech support here for Juki is minimal as I won't go back to the place of purchase due to a previous experience and there are very few other Juki dealers here in Melbourne. A local shop can service my Juki straight stitch...I guess I could take the DX in but until it is a frequent problem it seems a bit pointless.
