Terriamn - so sorry to hear this news, but knowing a date is so much easier than being in limbo. In the 90s I worked at an S&L which was taken over by the Federal Government. We were a six branch S&L and it took over two years to close us. While having that extra time was nice, sometimes you just need to know when. I was also "fortunate" enough to be at two other places which closed with no notice. Not fun at the time, but each time I fell into a better situation. I hope you and your husband see more positives from this situation than negatives.
