Scoring along the needle holes with a pin may help. It is still going to be a chore. I have pieced on telephone pages and even that took a loooong time to remove. If I ever want to do another, I am looking into Ricky Tim’s Totally Stable that you can leave in. Good luck!
Tartan, I purchased the Totally Stable when I was in Shipshewana, and used it in my Covey of Quails.... It was good to work with, but it does add that extra layer, so not quite as cuddly as a lighter weight fusible. I think it is perfect for wallhangings, and his quilts are mostly Art quilts.
