Hello from the Pacific Northwest!
I started quilting in 2012 when I was looking for a new hobby to satisfy my introverted tendencies. I thought quilting was the perfect solo activity and really enjoyed it. Now, I am discovering how much of a social community actually surrounds quilting. I joined my first quilt guild this year and now a forum, and I kinda dig it and am looking forward to my skills growing exponentially as a result.
I also bought my first long arm 2 months ago, and now realize that finishing a quilt can be just as much fun as the piecing!
