Default I made a quilted necktie!

This post is going to be total shameless bragging! I am so thrilled w/ how this turned out. I have made my husband's neck ties for over 20 years, and have never even thought of making a quilted neck tie. I was wandering through the fabric store and saw this fabric and was struck w/ an epiphany, making a quilted neck tie. The original fabric is a stripe, it is stacked repeat cut into 4 patch posies w/ the 90' triangle, pieced on point, the alternate stripe is used as the binding, and even better it is reversible!!!! I intend to do a little more hand work on the back to umph it up. I was worried the binding would be to thick and mess up the tying process so I didn't double it like a traditional binding but did a single fabric layer. This was much more work then a traditional neck tie but I see more of these in my husband's future.
