Thank you Cheshire Pat! So it's not the dull colors together. Not enough distinction? and I was trying to make sure no two alike colors were neighbors.
If I were to compare my quilt to others at the show I'd say my quilt was rather boring, missing a Wow factor. Could that be a sign of lacking value as well?
Thank you everyone for input. I've dubbed it the Mellow Yellow quilt. I love my quilt, it's perfect for me.
Too, I did take note that the quilts that did well had applique or reverse applique.
