My motor died on my Juki. The only problem I had was when the repairman didn't want to replace the entire motor. He "worked" on the motor replace brushes and stuff. In the end, I purchased a motor online and had them install it. So be sure to ask for that option. I was never satisfied with the partially fixed motor.
