Thank you all for the great suggestions. Since the yoyos make a distinct pattern I am going to shop for some 30’s fabrics to add a border. I am also tempted to “mount” it on some kind of backing... muslin is probably the most sturdy backing but the tulle technique sounds very interesting since I’ll still be able to see the back of the yoyos.
