I keep a folding mat and folding ruler in the roll around cart for my machine. I also have a hanging jewelry holder that has plastic compartments for the other things I need. I have a tote (like grocery tote or larger) for the fabric I need (although I used to have a small under seat type piece of luggage with wheels that worked well but finally gave out.
