As far as doing another one - if you want to, why not?
Sometimes one has to prove something to oneself, and that's the only criteria needed for doing something.
But I would be willing to bet that you would make changes as you went - even if the original intent was "to just do it better" the second time.
I agree. I've 3 partial Dear Janes to finish. I'm thinking, though of starting from scratch, and finishing this time, to make another. I've learned so much since then and am more confident to make a better quilt.
