I had so much fun treadling my Singer 237, I decided to step it up a notch and add a hand crank. Only one problem. With the solid hand wheel there is nothing for the finger on the crank to grab.

My solution was to drill a single hole through the hand wheel an push a screw through the back side.

Not the most elegant solution but it works well. Now I have a hank crank machine with zig zag and reverse.
