Default Janome AcuFil quilting

I currently have a Bernina 1530 sewing machine and a Bernette embroidery machine. I've used my home machines to do some smaller quilts, but would like to be able to do some larger quilts at home.

I've been looking at YouTubes about Janome's AcuFil software for quilting on the Horizon 12000 and 15000. I do not currently have the Janome 12000 or 15000 and would have to purchase either machine to use the AcuFil product.

1. Has anyone used the AcuFil software for quilting?
2. Do you like it?
3. Does it work well on quilts up to queen-size?
4. What problems/challenges have your encountered using AcuFil?
5. Do you think it was worth the cost of the machine and AcuFil software or would the Janome SD-16 be the better route to go?

I tried the SD-16 at the Grand Rapids AQS show, but wish it had software to do the quilt patterns automatically. I've even thought it might be better to wait to see if Janome eventually makes the SD-16 compatible with the AcuFil.
I do not have the room for a long arm machine and frame so the SD-16 would be about the size limit.

Finally, when using the machines for other than quilting:
6. Do you like your Horizon 12000 or 15000?
7. Which machine do you think is better?

Thanks for your input.
