i usually test my machines by sewing with me powering the hand wheel and my GF at the needle. Worth is all over the board, location and condition are part of it, but I swear some folks use chicken entrails to determine an
asking price.
I don't know what needle it takes, but except for the slide I don't see anything missing or broken.
